Abstract

The IBM solution for Continuous Engineering delivers rich capabilities for impact analysis. And we are seeking ways to make use of these capabilities easier by removing tool boundaries, enabling collaboration in the I/A process, simplifying the building and using tabular and diagram report views, and simplifying the building and using visual views. This session discusses the need for Impact Analysis.

Designing User Experience Concepts in Multi-Stream Configuration Management

Abstract

This workshop session use design thinking practices for generating and
reviewing UX concepts for Multi-Stream Configuration Management in the IBM Rational CLM tools. Attendees will participate in reviewing the Configuration Management content model and identify user actions and outcomes to the model. User actions will be allocated to the user interfaces merged into a Task Board for Multi-Stream Configuration Management documenting the desired usage model.

Validation of PLE Roles, Personas and User Experience Maps

Abstract

This session starts by listing the roles presumed involved in the PLE solution.
Hard copies of persona candidates representing those roles will be distributed to participants. Each persona will be described to the group. For each persona, the group will edit the persona’s description, adding/removing those who are or are not relevant. A few selected scenes in the scenario will be played back. The session attendees will select a PLE scenario persona and participate in smaller groups in an ideation session to capture the experience map of the selected persona. Each group will discuss its findings.

PLE Design Validation and Playback at Innovate 2014

Abstract

Design studio group session to validate PLE scenarios, key personas, and UX storyboards. We will deep dive into the 2014 release hills and design exploration. We will provide an overview of the PLE scenarios developed by the PLE delivery team.

Attendees will contribute by examining and validating the design scenarios, the scenario personas, and the development practices. Attendees will also be invited to work with the members of the Rational Design Factory team to explore parts of the scenario and contribute their user experiences and practices to the design work.
